D/A is part of the parent company YOYU Brands GmbH and can now look back on a 25-year history in aesthetics. Our initial experience as an aesthetic training institute with an educational mission enabled us to gain unique insights into the practice and its challenges. It is still our guarantee for the development of efficient products with their finger on the pulse. The transformation from an educational institute to a manufacturer of high-quality Microneedling products was achieved through a series of in-house innovations, staff growth and targeted acquisitions. This has enabled us to add development and manufacturing expertise to our wealth of practical experience.


Our most important steps:

1999

Foundation of the GSW Institutefor aesthetic training and specialised medical trade. Pioneer in publications and training courses in the fields of mesotherapy, PRP, carboxy and injection techniques. The company is still part of our group of companies today and is responsible for D/A training courseswithin Europe.


2007

The training programme is expanded to include BTX and Microbotox. The GSW Institute now offers courses at 9 locations in Germany and has already trained over 1,000 doctors and alternative practitioners.

2012

We develop the TruNeedle™ technology to produce Dermaroller with real needles and replace the previous production with punched parts. This makes perforation of the skin much less painful and more precise. Just 5 years later, over 10,000 of these are sold annually in Germany alone.


2014

As a pioneer in the DACH region, we introduce the production of plasma gel, unicorn and plasma powder to the market. An autologous and low-risk alternative to hyaluronic acid injections is established for the first time. This knowledge is later concentrated and further developed in the treatment Plasmatrix™

2016

We launch the DERMIDA.de marketplace and make the topic of Microneedling accessible to a wide audience for the first time. Alongside numerous aesthetic brands, the marketplace initially sells our Needling products under our own DERMIDA brand. Numerous companies then copy our posts, products and content.

2020

We launch our signature Treatment Matrixneedling™ , the world's first fully customisable Microneedling therapy. More than 80 products can be used to treat more than 30 indications. The results convince the experts and the treatment is a complete success.

2021

Product launch of the world's first electric Microneedling device under €1,000 list price follows. Professional Microneedling with the highest level of safety is now available at a relatively low cost with the NeedlingPen Medical Control The grey area of microneedling as a cosmetic or medical treatment is finally closed.

2022

Due to the enormous international demand and a large number of similar-sounding brand names, the D/A brand is spun off from the DERMIDA marketplace and managed as an independent brand. This will make it possible to protect the uniqueness of the product range and focus on international expansion. DERMIDA.de will remain available as a marketplace with selected brands.

2023

Thanks to numerous cooperation agreements, D/A products are available for the first time in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Turkey, Poland and Slovakia. Our partners ensure treatment quality on site through face-to-face training.

2024

The NeedlingPen Medical Control is TGA-registered and is an approved medical device in Australia and New Zealand. Our partner supplies and trains numerous clinics and medical practices directly.
