Start: Preparation

 

The treatment must be performed in a dry, clean, smoke-free, and hygienic area. Ensure there is adequate lighting in the room where the treatment will be performed. Before the treatment begins, ensure that all products and equipment are available and that all safety measures and procedures are met.

All exfoliations should be terminated three weeks prior to the Matrixpeel™ treatment. All harsh or aggressive products should be terminated five days prior to the Matrixpeel™ treatment. Do not shave or remove hair 24 hours before the Matrixpeel™ treatment.

1 Foam Cleansing

 

Start with clean skin. Our Essentials Solution Cleanser thoroughly and gently removes dirt, sebum, and make-up residue from your skin. Our cleansers are formulated to strengthen the skin barrier and the skin's natural protective function prior to treatment.

How to: Place two pumps of Essentials Solution Cleanser on fingertips and combine with lukewarm water. Gently massage the cleansing foam on the face and remove the excess foam with a damp, facial cleansing sponge or water.

2 Degreasing

 

Remove sebum and built-up dead skin cells. Our Degreaser thoroughly cleanses and disinfects the skin before the chemical peel is applied.

How to: Place a small amount on a cotton pad and evenly distribute. Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly.

3 Nanodermabrasion

 

Prior to the lactic acid peel, there is a nanoneedling treatment that removes dead skin cells, callusus, and any remaining bumps. The subsequent peel is less irritable and provides uniform exfoliation.

How to: Set the NeedlingPen to the highest power level, and the needle module to the desired length (follow device instructions). Do not move the NeedlingPen in circular motions. Instead, move the NeedlingPen in a straight line twice over each area of skin. Cleanse the area with the Facial Cleansing Sponge and ample water

4 Acid Peel

 

Just Exfoliate. Our Lactic acid peeling is great for cell renewal and reducing visible signs of aging. 

How to: Cover eyes with a cotton pad and protect sensitive areas with Vaseline. Remove the lactic acid with a disposable syringe and safely dispose of the cannula. Evenly apply the acid peel to the skin area and spread with the Chemical Peel Brush. To increase the effectiveness and further penetrate the acid peel, move the NeedlingPen over the acid peel in circular motions. Additional layers of the acid peel can be applied (if needed), but do so before the previous layer dries. Do not apply more than 5 layers. Observe exposure times.

5 Neutralization


Stop It! Our neutralizing solution regulates the pH value of your skin after the acid peel and immediately stops the chemical action of the peeling process and prevents overpeel.

How to: Remove excess lactic acid with a cotton pad. Apply Neutralizer Post-Peel Solution. Leave on for 2 to 4 minutes, then remove with ample water.

6 Calming

 

Relax and calm down. Relax and calm down. The Calming Face Mask soothes, cools, and regenerates your skin after peeling. Redness, irritation, and dryness are immediately reduced.

How to: Remove the mask from the packaging and remove both protective films. Apply the mask to the face and evenly distribute the excess with a brush and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove mask and gently massage in the excess serum.

7 Repair

 

SOS: The Repair Cream has a calming effect on stressed skin and restores your skin's pH value. It repairs the skin’s barrier, regulates its pH value, and provides an intensively nourishing effect.

How to: Open the individually wrapped sachet and gently massage into the skin in circular motions. Allow to fully absorb, do not rinse.

8 Protect

 

Following your treatment, your skin is highly sensitive. Protect your skin from UV radiation and minimize the risk and complications of unwanted effects. Our UV protection cream is free from all nanoparticles.

How to: Spray the cream to the desired skin area and massage into the skin in circular motions. Allow the cream to absorb into the skin.

Matrixpeel™ is a consecutive, exfoliating and indication-related combination therapy consisting of microdermabrasion, chemical Peeling and nanoneedling for controlled skin renewal and improvement of the skin structure. In contrast to conventional fruit acid peels, a more homogeneous and better penetration of the fruit acids can be achieved by combining the treatments. The gradual system structure ensures the reproducibility of the treatment and enables a high degree of customisation to individual skin requirements
The lactic acid peel against wrinkles and signs of skin ageing utilises two effects to rejuvenate the skin's appearance.

Ablative effects: The exfoliation, i.e. the removal of the outer horny layer of the epidermis, makes trenches up to 0.3 mm deep in the skin structure less noticeable. The ablative effects alone make the face appear younger and more vitalised.

Regenerative effects: The aim of a fruit acid peel is always to induce controlled skin renewal by provoking wound healing. Once the old skin layers have been removed, the new, much smoother skin appears. The therapy also induces a wound healing cascade by damaging the epidermal integrity, which leads to the stimulation of the body's own collagen and the synthesis of basic cellular substances.
Various factors influence the depth of a fruit acid peel. In addition to the type of acid, its concentration and the pH value, the user can also control the penetration depth via the exposure time and the number of layers applied.The Lactic 30 % with a pH value of 3.0 to 3.5 can be used as Peeling level 1 and level 2.

Depending on the application parameters, Peeling removes the outer horny layer (level 1) or the epidermal skin layer (level 2). Exfoliated skin and parts of the horny layer can be removed immediately during treatment. Further peeling of the skin is unlikely.
Erythema (erythema, also 'redness' or 'inflammation') is a dermatological term for reddening of the skin, for example after treatment with fruit acids. It has a significant influence on the downtime after the treatment. These effects can be categorised as "slight" to "mild" at this Peeling.
Frosting describes the formation of white spots on the skin surface when epidermal and dermal proteins break down. This keratocoagulation is the only clinical parameter that indicates to the practitioner that the fruit acid used has reached a certain layer of the skin. Further penetration of the fruit acid is stopped. However, frosting only occurs with medium and deep peels. As the lactide Peel only has an epidermal effect, no frosting effects are to be expected.
If undesirable skin reactions occur during the treatment or the person being treated feels unwell, the peeling process should be stopped prematurely in accordance with the protocol. For this purpose, the Neutralizer is applied, an alkaline Post-Peel solution that neutralises the acid and thus stops the peeling process in a controlled manner. This is also mandatory to prevent an over- Peel effect and undesirable side effects such as pigmentation disorders, burns or scars.
You will be fit for socialising again after just one day, or two days at the latest. Use sufficient sun protection.
Immediately after applying the peeling, slight reddening and burning sensations may occur. If the patient cannot tolerate this sensation, remove Peeling before the specified application time in accordance with the protocol.

Possible side effects include temporary reddening of the skin (erythema), peeling and crusting, a change in skin texture and slow healing. Bacterial or viral infections may occur. In exceptional cases, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation may occur. All side effects can be effectively prevented with the right aftercare (Photo Protector).
Treatment must not be given to persons

  • who suffer from allergies, epilepsy, infections or autoimmune diseases, infections of the respiratory tract, the cardiovascular system or the skin area to be treated.
  • who suffer from diseases or are being treated with medication that alters the normal re-epithelialisation of the skin (e.g. diabetes, Mediterranean anaemia, etc.).
  • who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or high-dose corticosteroid therapy.
  • with visible oedema and bruising in the area to be treated.
  • with systemic infections and viral diseases (e.g. hepatitis A, B, C, D, E or F, HIV infection) or acute localised skin infections (e.g. herpes, rosacea, acne, couperose, herpes, sores, rashes or eczema).
  • under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • who are taking blood-thinning medication or suffer from blood clotting disorders.
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding.
