Matrixpeel™ Neutralizer Post-Peel Solution
Neutralising solution to regulate the pH value of the skin after the peeling process.
- Stops the Peeling quickly and in a controlled manner
- Restores the skin's ideal pH value
- Has a soothing, decongestant and cooling effect
The Neutralizer is an alkaline Post-Peel solution that is applied after the chemical Peeling or fruit acid peel to neutralise the acid and thus stop the peeling process in a controlled manner.
The Neutralizer also has a calming and decongestant effect and restores the water-lipid balance and the pH value of the dermis.
The ready-to-use solution is sprayed undiluted and nebulised onto the treated skin. This is mandatory to prevent an over- Peel effect and undesirable side effects such as pigmentation disorders, burns or scars. The Neutralizer is also indispensable for the controlled cancellation of the treatment. This may be necessary if undesirable skin reactions occur during treatment.
The aim of a fruit acid peel is always to induce controlled skin renewal through provoked wound healing.
Neutralisation restores the skin's balance and raises the pH value back to the skin's usual acidic environment. Only then can the skin initiate its own regenerative processes, which are responsible for skin renewal and elastin and collagen production. Neutralisation also ensures that the functions of the protective acid mantle and the skin barrier remain intact.
For neutralisation, we use the gentle sodium salt of carbonic acid NaHCO3 in a concentration of 15 %, which releases carbon dioxide on contact with acid and neutralises it. Extracted camomile oil, aloe vera and panthenol soothe the skin and promote healing. The neutraliser is suitable for use with all chemical and fruit acid peelings.

INCIs
Sodium bicarbonate (also known as baking soda) has the molecular formula NaHCO₃, is a sodium salt of carbonic acid and is a hydrogen carbonate. With a pH value of 8.6 (at 20 °C, 50 g/L in H2O), it neutralises acid peeling with a low pH value and returns it to the average pH value of the skin of 5.5.
Panthenol is also known as provitamin B5 or dexpanthenol. The healing effect of panthenol has been clinically researched and proven. It keeps stressed skin supple and elastic, has a moisturising effect and promotes rapid regeneration and renewal of the skin. As a result, panthenol helps to soothe the skin and support wound healing.
High-quality aloe vera Gel, which is extracted from the inner flesh of the leaves, can help heal wounds thanks to its wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. It therefore accelerates the regeneration of the skin after an Peeling. It soothes reddened, dry, irritated skin with a cooling effect and makes it smooth and supple.
Is a colourless but highly effective extract that is isolated from camomile oil. The active ingredient nourishes on the one hand, but is also essential according to Peeling due to its healing and anti-inflammatory effect. Bisabolol also quickly soothes the skin, promotes skin renewal and has an antibacterial effect.
