Start: Preparation

 

The treatment must be performed in a dry, clean, smoke-free, and hygienic area. Ensure there is adequate lighting in the room where the treatment will be performed. Before the treatment begins, ensure that all products and equipment are available and that all safety measures and procedures are met.

 

1 Cleansing

 

Start with clean skin. Our Essentials Solution Cleanser thoroughly and gently removes dirt, sebum, and make-up residue from your skin. Our cleansers are formulated to strengthen the skin barrier and the skin's natural protective function prior to treatment.

How to: Place a small amount of Essentials Solution Cleanser on fingertips and combine with lukewarm water. Gently massage the cleansing foam on the face and remove the excess foam with a damp, facial cleansing sponge or water.

2 Peeling

 

Remove built-up dead skin cells. Our Enzyme Peel contains encapsulated fruit extracts and bromelain and removes skin dander and dead skin, clarifies your skin texture, and sets the stage for rapid skin renewal after your treatment. As a result, active ingredients in the following steps can be evenly applied for a more uniform exfoliation.

How to: Put a hazelnut-sized amount in the peel bowl and evenly apply to the skin area with the chemical peel brush. Leave on for at least 5 minutes, but no longer than 10 minutes. Afterwards, remove the peel mask with the facial cleansing sponge and rinse thoroughly. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel if needed.

3 Serum

 

Boost Your Treatment. Our Skin Tone Imperfection Control Serum is the best pharmaceutical-grade serum to treat hyperpigmentation.

How to: A blunt cannula and a syringe are required to withdraw the serum. Remove the ampoule cap, attach the nozzle to the syringe. Pierce plastic septum and withdraw the required amount of serum. Evenly distribute the serum on the desired area. The serum now serves as a lubrication barrier between the skin and the needling device in the following step.

4 Needling

 

Unleash the Power. Select either the needling pen or derma roller. Large areas on the body should be treated with a dermaroller to be effective. The NeedlingPen should be used for smaller areas on the body. Both devices restore elasticity and collagen production quickly and allow the active ingredient to penetrate further into the skin.

How to: The treatment area should be perforated 4-8 times. With the NeedlingPen, select a needle length between 1.0 mm – 1.5 mm.

5 Hydration

 

3-in-1 Combo. The Hydration Face Mask provides intense hydration, supports the skin’s regenerative process, and restores the body’s elasticity and collagen production. Redness, irritation, microtears and dryness are reduced immediately. Different masks are available for the face and body.

How to: Remove the mask from the packaging and remove both protective coverings. Apply the mask to the face and distribute the serum onto the mask evenly. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Remove the mask and massage the remaining serum into the skin.

6 Repair

 

SOS: Our Repair Balm is a post-treatment solution that strengthens and reconstructs the skin barrier, restores your skin’s pH balance, and seals in the serum.

How to: Open the individual Repair Balm package and massage into the skin in circular motions. Allow the cream to absorb into the skin. Do not rinse off.

Matrixneedling™ is like Microneedling, only better. It is a consecutive, minimally invasive and fully indication-specific therapy for the reconstruction of the collagen network and percutaneous drug delivery and systemic distribution. By temporarily perforating the skin with sterile needles and the resulting physical trauma, the therapy induces a wound healing cascade with minimal damage to epidermal integrity. This self-healing process leads to the reorganisation of collagen fibres and the release of growth factors that stimulate the formation of new collagen, elastin and capillaries. At the same time, Matrixneedling™ utilises the increased permeability of the skin to deliver highly potent therapeutic molecules that act directly and immediately in the intended structures of the cutis.
There is a simple reason why conventional cosmetics can only have a very limited effect against hyperpigmentation. Weighing around four kilograms and covering an area of up to two square metres, the outer skin is the largest human organ. It consists of three layers: the hypodermis, the dermis and the epidermis. The brick-like horny layer of the epidermis is the first and most important barrier against the hostile outside world. In order for active ingredients from conventional cosmetics to penetrate the deeper layers of the underlying dermis or hypodermis, they must first overcome this barrier. Empirical studies show that even the most expensive creams have hardly any effect on skin characterised by hyperpigmentation. Even innovative cosmetics with a modified molecular structure or added artificial penetrators from the laboratory are not able to penetrate deep into the skin to achieve measurable success.
Microneedling does not recognise these problems. The therapy reaches every layer of skin with its up to 2.5 mm in order to stimulate the body to produce essential collagen and elastin. These tightening and growth factors can only really have an effect on pigmentation-damaged skin and its visible signs when they reach deep into the skin. At the same time, Matrixneedling™ utilises the skin's increased permeability to deliver highly potent therapeutic molecules that act directly and immediately in the intended structures of the cutis. Highly concentrated active ingredients in pure form can therefore be delivered precisely and safely to the area of action without making them permeable through artificial additives. Tranexamic acid is able to regulate melanin synthesis in a biochemical mechanism and effectively inhibit the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin. This enables the procedure to lighten skin discolouration caused by hormonal disorders, UV radiation, inflammation or the use of certain medications. This makes Microneedling the most effective Treatment in modern aesthetics

Both Dermaroller and needling pens can be used to treat hyperpigmentation with Microneedling. For large areas, Dermaroller is preferable as it can perforate faster and more efficiently.
Hyperpigmentation is usually treated with a needle depth from 0.75 mm. It is always advisable to start the initial treatment with this needle depth to ensure that your skin accepts the treatment well and to minimise the risk of irritation.
The downtime for a treatment with 0.75 mm is approximately 1 to 2 days. For treatments with deeper perforations, redness may be visible for up to 3 days. Our face and body masks for post-treatment and our Repair Balm significantly reduce this downtime
An improvement in the appearance of the skin can be expected from the 3rd treatment onwards.
For certain groups of people, Microneedling treatment with Dermaroller is out of the question. Treatment must not be given to people

  • who suffer from allergies, epilepsy, infections or autoimmune diseases, infections of the respiratory tract, the cardiovascular system or the skin area to be treated.
  • who suffer from diseases or are being treated with medication that alters the normal re-epithelialisation of the skin (e.g. diabetes, Mediterranean anaemia, etc.).
  • undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or high-dose corticosteroid therapy. with visible oedema and bruising in the area to be treated.
  • with pronounced ptosis (sagging) of the skin or pustular skin lesions.
  • with systemic infections and viral diseases (e.g. hepatitis A, B, C, D, E or F, HIV infection) or acute local skin infections (e.g. herpes, rosacea, acne, couperose, herpes, wounds, rashes or eczema).
  • who are taking blood-thinning medication or suffer from blood clotting disorders.
  • with scar keloids, warts or nerve damage on the skin area to be treated.
  • under the age of 18 without parental or guardian consent.
There are also groups of people who should avoid treatment for reasons of preventive safety. These include people
  • during pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • with mental illness and/or mental disorders
  • who have received Botox treatment or hyaluronic acid injections in the last 3 weeks
Thanks to the high-quality nature of our needles, the treatment is much less painful than you might think. Studies from 2012 showed that 80 % of users still perceive treatment with a needle length of less than 0.75 mm as less painful, while 20 % stated that they found the treatment increasingly unpleasant from exactly this needle length .

Individual pain perception therefore plays a significant role. From a needle depth of 0.75 mm, the use of a local anaesthetic (e.g. Emla) may therefore be advisable, depending on the pain perception of the person being treated. To do this, apply Creme to the facial skin after Peeling and leave to work for approx. 30 minutes. Cover the anaesthetised skin area with an airtight and waterproof cover, e.g. with an occlusive dressing or simple cling film. Be sure to read and follow the anaesthetic cream package insert.
