Matrixpeel™ Anti- Acne Acid Complex
Innovative fruit acid peeling with salicylic and azelaic acid for acne treatment.
- Reduces acne and sebum secretions
- Inhibits bacterial proliferation
- Application with the NeedlingPen
The anti- Acne Acid Complex is a Sterile Peeling solution for the regression of acne and the reduction of sebum secretions, comedones and blackheads. Acne scars and different skin tones are reduced and homogenised in the long term. The Peeling complex denatures the epidermal proteins, which leads to a controlled dissolution of the adhesive moisturising factors between the horny cells and thus frees the pores from dead cells, bacterial accumulations and impurities. Blocked follicles are opened and bacterial proliferation is specifically inhibited.
The Peeling complex owes its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to a suspension of azelaic acid (14 %) and keratolytic salicylic acid (2 %). We use lactic acid as an additional penetration enhancer for the targeted release of active ingredients in order to release the acids in the intended structures of the cutis and follicle.
The viscous Peeling complex was designed for topical application, the effectiveness and penetration capacity of which can be significantly increased by simultaneous nanoneedling. Our epidermal Peeling solutions are characterised by a low downtime, as the reddening of the skin (erythema) can be classified as "mild" and no frosting effect (keratocoagulation) is to be expected.

Azelaic acid is an extremely effective dicarboxylic acid for the treatment of Acne vulgaris. It is characterised by its very good tolerability and is permitted in cosmetic products up to a concentration of 15 %. Its therapeutic effectiveness is primarily due to its antimicrobial effect and direct influence on the keratinisation of the skin. Azelaic acid also has an anti-inflammatory effect and reliably counteracts the classic symptoms of acne, such as inflamed pimples.
Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and has a strong keratolytic effect, which means that it loosens keratinisation of the skin more quickly. It helps to promote the desquamation of the skin. Through this process, the acid activates cell renewal and is therefore not only used against blackheads, spots and other skin impurities, but is also considered an Anti-Aging active ingredient that contributes to a youthful and radiant complexion.
Lactic acid occurs in the form of sodium lactate as a natural moisturising factor in human skin. It has a very sensitive effect and helps to reduce acne and even out the skin discolouration that remains after spots. The fruit acid acts like a pore opener, gently loosening the cornification on the skin's surface and stimulating ceramide production. The keratinisation process of the skin is normalised, which is why lactic acid can also have a preventative effect on acne.
