The Pure Moisturizing Silk Ball is a sterile, lyophilized silk protein thread combined with high-quality hyaluronic acid, troxerutin, and collagen to revitalize tired skin through intensive hydration. A liquid is added to the injection container, mixed, and then drawn up again for application or applied directly using the supplied applicator. The Pure Moisturizing Silk Balls can be used individually or mixed with existing meso-cocktails to increase their viscosity and provide a true freshness boost. It nourishes the skin, intensely hydrates the treatment area, and improves skin elasticity. The result is a fresh complexion that impresses with its natural radiance.

We use the stable flavonoid troxerutin, peptide compounds, hyaluronic acid, and highly concentrated type III collagen, which, in its hydrolyzed form, encapsulates secondary active ingredients as a nano-transport agent and delivers them into the deeper layers of the skin. Here, it protects against premature collagen breakdown and skin damage caused by free radicals. It inhibits collagen-degrading enzymes that are activated by stress. The collagen carrier material consists of ultra-fine silk protein threads obtained from silkworm cocoons. These are the only naturally occurring continuous fibers and are mainly composed of proteins. The active ingredients fibroin and sericin in the silk protein act as moisture reservoirs, gradually releasing hydrating effects into the deeper skin layers.

The Pure Moisturizing Silk Balls can be combined with all D/A Microneedling serums or water. The result is immediately fresher and smoother skin with increased elasticity and maximum radiance.

3 Serum

Dissolve the Pure Moisturizing Silk Ball in a suitable liquid or Serum of your choice before use. A blunt cannula and a syringe are required for this. Draw up the liquid in the syringe and remove the protective cap from the Pure Moisturizing Silk ball. Insert the cannula through the septum and press the plunger to completely fill the ampoule with liquid. You can now mix the liquid with a short rotating movement using the cannula. You can now draw up the syringe again very easily. The Serum is then applied to the treatment area to work it in with the NeedlingPen or Dermaroller. Alternatively, it can also be used as a topical Booster once a month.

INCIs

Hydrolysed collagen is the further processed form of collagen. The proteins in the gelatine are fragmented into smaller pieces by enzymes. This process is known as hydrolysis. The resulting hydrolysed Collagen can be more easily absorbed by the skin and the body.

Sericin, the silk protein gently extracted from our cocoons, is a structural protein that binds particularly well with the skin's keratin and is optimally absorbed by the skin. Sericin has extremely high moisturising properties. One ampoule contains as much sericin as an entire cocoon.

Fibroin is a fibre protein and as such is the main component of silk. In skincare, it helps to repair and strengthen damaged collagen fibres in the skin, making the skin look firmer and tighter. It also provides a lot of moisture, similar to the popular hyaluronic acid.

Troxerutin, naturally occurring flavonol is a type of most stable flavonoid extracted from Sophora japonica buds. Troxerutin is a hydroxyethylrutoside derived from rutin in a semi-synthetic process. Flavonoids are polyphenolic compounds found in most fruits and vegetables. Troxerutin is an effective antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent and also has an antibacterial effect. It improves microcirculation and helps to promote new angiogenesis.

Mannitol is a low molecular weight sugar that has a long-standing and well-studied safety profile in medicine and pharmacology. It combines moisturising and antioxidant properties that make it an ideal ingredient for use in skin care formulations. In addition, mannitol is a powerful free radical scavenger that protects dermal cell membranes and extracellular matrix components from reactive oxygen species and products of UV radiation. It can also break up bacterial films, making mannitol useful in acne treatment products.

Hyaluron has the ability to bind large amounts of water and plump up the skin. By combining Microneedling with hyaluronic acids, both the superficial epidermis and deep layers of the skin can be moisturised. The result is a fresh, youthful complexion with a volumising effect.

Ectoin is able to increase moisture in the skin cells. As a result, it has a hydrating, wrinkle-reducing, smoothing and regenerating effect. It inhibits inflammation and soothes irritated skin. It also protects the skin from the effects of UV radiation and extrinsic skin ageing.

Niacinamide is a very well tolerated and stable Vitamin B3 derivative. It is particularly valuable for freshly perforated skin as it has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and soothing effect. A major advantage is that, unlike many substitutes, it does not dry out or irritate the skin.
