The Occlusive Face Masks are face masks for creating an impermeable sealing layer above the epidermis to ensure the absorption of anaesthetic creams and local anaesthetics in the facial area before aesthetic procedures, Microneedling, injections, PMU or tattoos. A moist chamber forms under this film cover, which leads to swelling and thus loosening of the outer horny layer if the epithelium is intact, which accelerates the absorption of drugs.

With the prefabricated face mould and the matching cut-outs for the eyes, mouth and nose, the face can be professionally covered, which was previously difficult to achieve in practice with conventional films or occlusive dressings due to the complex facial anatomy. The Occlusive Face Masks are therefore mandatory in order to comply with the instructions for use of all manufacturers of anaesthetic creams with regard to the required occlusive barrier and to guarantee the person being treated a safe anaesthesia of the local facial area.

We use a special plastic that is both airtight and waterproof as well as particularly elastic and hard-wearing. Unscented, transparent and free from harmful ingredients.

Opt.: Anaesthesia

Compatible with all anaesthetic creams that recommend an occlusive dressing or occlusive plaster according to the instructions for use. Use anaesthetic cream according to the package insert. In most cases, a thick white layer Creme ("ointment layer") must be applied. Then remove a Occlusive Face Mask from the packaging and place it on the face. To prevent the mask from slipping, it is best to carefully secure the film at the edges with Leukoplast adhesive strips. Observe the manufacturer's application times.
