The innovative MGA Infused tubes are Sterile negative pressure tubes for the preparation of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in combination with melatonin, glycine and adenosine in a closed system. They were designed to obtain the enriched PRP in a standardised and reproducible centrifugation and to introduce it transdermally into the skin using the NeedlingPen. The regenerative abilities of the skin and cell growth are naturally stimulated by the so-called PRP Needling , collagen formation and skin metabolism are stimulated and stress levels are reduced. These processes are responsible for the smoothness, firmness and beauty of the skin and ensure a lasting improvement in the quality of tired skin, wrinkles, reduced collagen and elastin production and skin cell damage caused by free radicals and singlet oxygen.
To improve the quantity and quality of PRP, we use high-quality borosilicate glass and do not use separating gel or citrate. The tubes offer a high yield of platelets and are resistant to the high kinetic energy of centrifugation.
Heparin as an anticoagulant shows a better yield of platelets compared to sodium citrate. The thrombocyte requires calcium ions for degranulation, but these are bound with citrates. Heparin, on the other hand, inhibits antithrombin III and therefore has no effect on the platelet. The elimination of separating gel enables a more efficient yield with fewer additives, as 1 ml more content can be obtained per tube. In addition, cells have different sizes and specific densities. Separating gel retains the erythrocytes and leucocytes.
