The Acne & Oily Skin Reversal Serum is a sterile, highly concentrated Microneedling- Serum for sebum regulation, the reduction of acne-causing bacteria and the brightening of oily and acne-prone skin types. The Serum was designed to be introduced transdermally into the skin via NeedlingPen or Dermaroller and to prevent acne breakouts in the long term. It owes its effectiveness to the innovative active ingredient complex with highly effective peptides, which is based on three stages:

Sebum regulation:

Niacinamide is converted into the molecule NAD, which provides the energy required for metabolic reactions, by Microneedling and application to the middle layer of the skin. Important stabilising factors, such as lipids or ceramides, can be formed in this way. Niacinamide has a cleansing effect, controls the sebum balance and unclogs pores without drying out the skin. The sebum-regulating properties are stabilised and increased by the addition of the peptide compounds oligopeptide-34 and SH polypeptide-2.

Bacteria reduction:

The Acne & Oily Skin Reversal neutralises the cause of Acne Vulgaris by combating the propionibacteria that cause acne. To do this, Serum uses both Vitamin C derivatives and the proven tripeptide Glutathione. 3-O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. If it penetrates the skin via Microneedling, it is metabolised and optimally unfolds its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antioxidant effects in the epidermis. Glutathione, on the other hand, is a powerful antioxidant and helps by removing these unwanted bacterial substances, toxins and germs from the skin, transporting them to the skin's surface and then neutralising them.

Lightening:

Clear acne often leaves behind scarring and varying skin tones. With liquorice extracts, Vitamin C and alpha arbutin, different skin tones can be evened out and scarred tissue appears more homogeneous. Glycyrrhizin, coumarins and over 300 different flavonoids act on the skin to even out and smooth it.

3 Serum

Use our supplied Cannula Set for application. The withdrawal cannula and syringe are required to withdraw the serum. Attach the cannula to the syringe and remove the protective cap from the cannula. Now remove the protective cap from the serum and insert the cannula through the septum. You can now draw up the syringe very easily. Replace the withdrawal cannula with the curved, blunt application cannula. Then apply the Serum safely to the treatment area to work it in with the NeedlingPen or Dermaroller.

INCIs

The two peptide compounds SH-Polypeptide-2 and Oligopeptide-34 are used both to regulate sebum and to soothe skin that is already inflamed. Oligopeptide-34 is a synthetic peptide that contains 13 different amino acids consisting of arginine, aspartic acid, isoleucine, glutamine, leucine, serine, threonine and tryptophan.

Niacinamide is a very well tolerated and stable Vitamin B3 derivative. It is particularly valuable for oily skin types as it has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and cleansing effect. A major advantage is that, unlike many substitutes in anti-acne products, it does not dry out or irritate the skin. Instead, niacinamide reduces sebum production, cleanses the pores and soothes inflammation. Inflamed pimples can heal quickly as a result, while the formation of new blackheads is prevented.

3-O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a particularly stable, highly effective and water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. This modification significantly increases the stability of the molecule and improves its transport through the skin compared to pure Vitamin C, which is easily degraded. Only when 3-O ethyl ascorbic Acid penetrates the skin is it metabolised into Vitamin C. This is where the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect in the epidermis can unfold optimally. It helps to combat bacteria that are normally responsible for acne.

Glutathione (also known as GSH) is a sulphur-containing tripeptide made up of glutamic acid, glycine and cysteine, which is found in every cell in our body. Oily and acne-prone skin types usually suffer from clogged pores in combination with a build-up of acne-causing bacteria. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant and helps by removing these unwanted substances from the skin. Often the symptoms worsen at the beginning (break-out) as the toxins are transported to the surface of the skin. However, once these toxins have been combated and removed, an improved skin appearance quickly appears.

Liquorice extract combines many positive effects for oily, seborrhoeic and acne-prone skin, which is why it was voted medicinal plant of the year in 2012. According to the latest studies, liquorice contains over 400 active ingredients, such as glycyrrhizin, coumarins and over 300 different flavonoids. As a result, liquorice has a strong anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, antioxidant and smoothing effect. It also lightens the skin tone and adapts to different skin tones. Due to its biocompatibility and natural extraction, it is ideal for sensitive and already damaged skin.
